This Privacy Policy describes how UXcue (“we”, “our”, or “us”) handles information when you use Stucklapse Task Management (“the App”), including related digital services and synchronization infrastructure.

We are committed to protecting user privacy and complying with applicable data protection laws, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Overview

Stucklapse Task Management is a productivity and task organization platform designed to help users manage tasks, notes, reminders, and workflows securely across devices and browser sessions.

Data synchronization is optional and is implemented using encrypted cloud infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) servers located in Mumbai, India.

We aim to minimize unnecessary data collection and implement reasonable security safeguards to protect user information.

2. Information We Handle

2.1 Account Information

When you create or access an account, certain authentication-related data may be processed to securely identify and synchronize your account across devices.

This may include:

  • Authentication identifiers
  • Encrypted account session information
  • Basic service-related metadata required for functionality and security

2.2 User Content

Tasks, notes, reminders, and related content created within the App may be securely stored and synchronized using encrypted AWS infrastructure.

Your data is encrypted during transmission and stored in encrypted form on AWS Mumbai region infrastructure to enable:

  • Cross-device synchronization
  • Access across browsers and authenticated sessions
  • Recovery of synced content after browser or device changes

2.3 Local Browser Storage

Certain app functionality may also use browser-based storage technologies such as LocalStorage or IndexedDB to improve performance and offline usability.

2.4 No Advertising or Tracking

We do not sell personal data to advertisers. We do not intentionally use invasive third-party tracking technologies for behavioral advertising purposes.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Data processing related to account access, synchronization, and secure storage is lawful under:

  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) – when you voluntarily use synchronization or account features
  • Performance of a Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) – to provide the App’s core functionality and services
  • Legitimate Interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) – for maintaining platform security, reliability, and fraud prevention

4. Data Retention

  • Synced Data: Retained while your account remains active or until you delete your content.
  • Local Browser Data: Stored on your device until manually removed or cleared by your browser.
  • Temporary Technical Logs: Limited operational logs may be retained temporarily for reliability and security purposes.

5. Data Security

We implement reasonable and industry-standard safeguards to help protect data, including:

  • HTTPS/TLS encrypted transmission
  • Encrypted cloud storage infrastructure
  • Authentication and access-control mechanisms
  • Infrastructure hosted on AWS Mumbai region servers

While we strive to secure user information, no digital platform can guarantee absolute security.

6. User Rights (GDPR & DPDPA)

Subject to applicable laws, you may have the right to:

  • Access or review your data
  • Request deletion of your account or content
  • Export or back up your information
  • Withdraw consent by discontinuing use of the App
  • Request correction of inaccurate information

Our services are not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after updates become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
